Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data Tier Lounge collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have in relation to it. Please read it carefully.

01

Who we are

Tier Lounge Ltd ("Tier Lounge", "we", "us" or "our") operates the Tier Lounge platform, an invitation-only service for discovering and booking business and first class air travel. Our registered address is in England and Wales. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@tierlounge.com.

02

Data we collect

We collect information you provide directly — your name, email address, travel preferences, and payment details when you make a booking. We also collect data automatically when you use the platform, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and search queries. If you connect a third-party account (such as Google), we receive the profile information you authorise during that flow.

03

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and improve our service, personalise your experience, process bookings and payments, and send you fare alerts and member communications you have opted into. We also use aggregated, anonymised data to understand how the platform is used and to train our AI concierge. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

04

Legal bases for processing

We process your data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR: performance of a contract (fulfilling your bookings); legitimate interests (fraud prevention, platform improvement, and personalisation, balanced against your rights); your consent (marketing communications and non-essential cookies); and compliance with a legal obligation where applicable.

05

Sharing your data

To fulfil bookings, we share necessary data with airlines, global distribution systems (such as Duffel), and payment processors. These partners are contractually required to process data only for the purpose of completing your transaction. We may also disclose data to regulatory authorities if required by law. We do not share your data with advertisers.

06

International transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on UK-approved adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

07

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, plus a period of six years to meet our legal and tax obligations. Booking records are kept for seven years. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time; see "Your rights" below.

08

Cookies and tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand platform usage. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

09

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@tierlounge.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify members by email and update the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
